Object Lesson:
Ezekiel was given this vision at a time that Israel was “dead” as a nation, deprived of her land, her king, and her temple. She had been divided and dispersed for so long that unification and restoration seemed impossible! So God gave Ezekiel the vision of the dry bones as sign that one day under Jesus the Messiah, He would make the dead nation ALIVE again! What seemed impossible, is possible for God.
We can often think of broken things in this world and feel hopeless about the circumstance. Whether it's the hard heart of a loved one or relative or a broken relationship or worse! Although this world is broken, Jesus has overcome this world and concurred death! He's given us a beautiful hope and promise that ONE DAY He will make ALL THINGS NEW. He will take us to be WITH HIM in His FOREVER kingdom where there is no more death, crying or pain anymore!
Take your concerns, your cares and your anxiety to Him and HE will give you rest. What seems impossible, is POSSIBLE for God! Write down at least one prayer on a sheet of paper and date it. Fold it up and put it in your Bible. LEAVE IT THERE! You'll come across it in the future, more than once. It will remind you of God's faithfulness and His care and love for you!
